AAA OFFERS BUS RIDES TO AND
FROM MONTANA FOLK FESTIVAL
Helena, Mont., (June 28, 2011) – AAA is offering shuttle bus rides to and from Butte for the Montana Folk Festival set for July 8, 9 and 10.
In 2008, Butte won the bid to host the National Folk Festival for three consecutive years. This year, the community decided to continue this great event on its own, establishing the Montana Folk Festival.
“The Montana Folk Festival is such a great event, AAA wants to offer a safe, convenient way to travel for it,” said Betsy Baumgart, Director of AAA Travel. “The Folk Festival is truly a great experience for families and AAA is thrilled that it will continue.”
The Montana Folk Festival is a celebration of American culture through music, dance, storytelling and traditional crafts. In addition to multiple stages with continuous live performances, the festival will also include art, ethnic and festival cuisine, and folk life demonstrations. “It’s a great atmosphere for families. There are so many activities going on and it ends up being a fun, packed weekend,” Baumgart added.
The AAA Shuttle is scheduled for Saturday, July 9. The $65 fee includes motor coach transportation to and from the Montana Folk Festival, Festival Pocket schedule guides, coffee and light snacks and a complimentary momosa for adults 21 and older. Shuttles are available from Billings, departing from the Billings AAA Branch at 7:30am and from Bozeman, departing from the Bozeman AAA Branch at 9:45am.
“The shuttle removes the hassle of parking, the stress of driving and the risk of driving while impaired,” says Baumgart. To book your seat on the AAA Shuttle to the Montana Folk Festival, call (877) 414-7649. Bookings must be made by Tuesday, July 5.
